Animals and Birds Act (ABA)

  • Preventing the introduction into, and the spreading within, Singapore of diseases of animals, birds or fish

  • Controlling the movement of animals, birds and fish into, within and from Singapore

  • Preventing cruelty to animals, birds or fish

  • Maintaining the general welfare and improvement of animals, birds or fish in Singapore
